Where did we come from? Do we really matter? Why is our world both beautiful and broken? Is there hope for humanity?
Genesis 1-11 addresses these foundational questions. Together, we'll explore these ancient texts in their original setting, discover what they reveal about God, humanity, and the world, and consider how they continue to shape conversations today about our origins, identity, purpose, justice, and hope.
Everyone is welcome. Whether you're investigating Christianity, returning to the Bible, or seeking to deepen your faith, this discussion-based series invites thoughtful conversation, honest questions, respectful dialogue, and learning together.

God's deep desire is that His children would flourish, in mind, soul, and body. This study is designed specifically for 1st-year graduate students as they consider all that God is calling them to as they embark on this journey called graduate school!

What to Expect
We exist to encourage Johns Hopkins graduate and post-graduate students to grow in love for God, His Word, people of every culture, and His purposes in the world. We meet every Wednesday evening for Bible study, worship, and fellowship. All are welcome to join and be part of a multicultural community of Hopkins grad students.
We are committed to keeping JESUS at the center of everything we do, both in our study and in our life together. We welcome everyone to participate, and as a group we hold to these foundational Christian beliefs: the divine inspiration and authority of Scripture, the deity of Jesus Christ, his substitutionary death and bodily resurrection for our redemption, the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit, and the personal return of Christ.
